About Diogo brown

Diogo Brown is a Latin Grammy–nominated bassist, composer, and musical director from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Known for his versatility and sophistication, he has toured the world and worked with international stars such as Gloria Estefan, Laura Pausini, Brian McKnight, Jon Secada, Buika, and Julio Iglesias Jr., as well as Brazilian icons like Vanessa da Mata, Daniela Mercury, Alcione, Elba Ramalho and more.
Based in Miami, Diogo spent six years as bassist and musical director for Univision’s hit TV show Enamorándonos, where he honed his craft in live performance and music production. Beyond television, he continues to collaborate on studio projects, produce for diverse artists, and develop his own creative ventures.
Diogo is also the founder and leader of Gafieira Rio Miami, a dynamic 11-piece Brazilian big band that blends the elegance of samba, gafieira, and jazz. With this project, he is dedicated to bringing the richness of Brazilian culture to global audiences through high-energy performances, original compositions, and innovative productions.
